Hello! My name is Leslie

I am a UX Researcher and Designer

I love what I do. I love that design has the power to create positive change; no matter how big or small. I love hearing people’s stories and being entrusted with those stories to drive change. I love engaging both my creative and analytical sides to identify and solve problems. I love collaborating with team members to gain their perspective and expertise to bring ideas to life. I love the continual thirst for knowledge and inspiration of the community.

A bit about me and my experience

I am passionate about understanding human behaviour and creating purposeful, intuitive and engaging experiences that improve people’s lives and achieve business goals. 

My end-to-end experience as both a researcher and designer (with a background in front-end development) means customer insights don't get lost between discovery, design and delivery. My practical sense, combined with my enthusiasm and ability to think big and strategic ensure designs are feasible and viable without compromising the human need. My experience both consulting and in-house within multi-functional delivery teams have enabled me to empathise and communicate effectively with stakeholders and colleagues to drive change.

Improving people's lives through purposeful, intuitive and engaging experiences has driven my career path. With extensive experience in both UX research and design, I am seeking to contribute to a meaningful space that values evidence-based solutions.

I’ve had the pleasure of working both in-house and as a consultant with a variety of national and global businesses in Australia, Canada and New Zealand; big and small, blue-chips and non-for-profits, tech and building material suppliers.
